Following the unexpected closure earlier this year, we need your help to preserve our history and ensure a vibrant future for the Electric Palace Harwich. For nearly 115 years, this cinema has been a cherished part of our community. We need your support to secure its future.
For generations, the Electric Place has been a much-loved landmark within both Harwich and our wider communities, a place to create memories and now holds great historic significance as the oldest purpose-built cinema in East Anglia.
Why #OurElectricPalace Matters:

Our Goal:
To initially raise £70,000 for:
– Maintenance: Essential repairs to ensure structural integrity.
– Upgrading equipment: Keeping our doors open
– Expanding Programs: Offer more diverse cultural and educational programme, both screenings and live events
