Back for a second visit to Harwich, Red Dirt Skinners are the multi award-winning husband and wife team of Rob and Sarah Skinner. Now based in Canada, the duo have been described as the Pink Floyd of folk music and their unique sound, based on a blend of acoustic guitar and soprano saxophone, draws upon a variety of influences from not only the Floyd but also Simon and Garfunkel, Supertramp, Crosby Stills and Nash, and David Bowie. The Harwich date, in the Harwich Town Sailing Club, is part of the Red Dirt Skinners’ UK wide spring tour. A Red Dirt Skinners concert combines captivating story-telling with knowing lyricism and outstanding musicianship. Rob and Sarah take you on a musical journey to remember.
