Since the launch of this project we have had an enthusiastic response form the public, keen to discover the story of all the ships built for the Royal Navy at Harwich Navy yard between 1660 and 1826. Several ships have been ‘adopted’ by members of the public who are now helping with research. Come and learn about some of the fascinating ships built here, and more about the project in general.
