Guitar maestro John Etheridge revisits the Electric Palace with vocalist Vimala Rowe.
John Etheridge, who for many years played with the great Stephane Grappelli, is one of a handful of players who can genuinely claim to have shaped the character of modern jazz guitar and has been described by fellow fretman Pat Metheny as “one of the best guitarists in the world”.
Vimala Rowe is an exemplary jazz singer with a faultless and deft expression and a unique style enhanced by her training in classical Hindustani vocals.
Together they explore refined jazz and blues tones with tantalising touches of flamenco, Indian classical and African timbres in a truly powerful, soulful and moving fashion.
Two artists at the top of their game merging as one.
